Roots that should never be re-colored

Be inspired this week by different cultures from around the world. Ok so mainly focusing on jewerly. I derive most of my inspiration from my back ground and the things I enjoy but a large amount of my inspiration comes from tribal inspired jewelry and I'm not talking about the "Fashion" and "Trend" aspect that has been storming down the runways but the meaning in such prints, patterns, and adornments.
Not only do those bright colors enhance your appearance for Summer but they also represent a story or depict a scene as to how it could be best decribed to the people of that region or culture. That is what makes them special and unique.
Not only has jewelry been worn for decorative purposes, it also represents a person's position in their society or possibly accomplishments such as rights of passage, children, or certain events that have changed their lifes.
Hand woven bracelets by family members being passed down by generations hold such priceless value. Even a cotton braided bracelet with seed beads that a close friend put together for you could hold more value than a gold ring purchased in a department store. Intrinsic value flies out the window.
Always remember where the first pieces of wearable jewelry came from. That will help you pick that special everyday piece.
